Q: Is there any particular story that has happened in these 20 years that stands out to you that you’d like to share with us?

A: Over 20 years we have shared a LOT of memories! Traveling around the world in 2013 was pretty amazing and we summited Mt Kilimanjaro in 2015 together!

We have traveled through Central and South America (to Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina), Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania), Southeast Asia and Australia!

Q: Do you remember the vows 20 years ago? Is there any change in the new vows?

A: Our vows... we were so young for the original ones that we made promises for things we had no experience with yet! The vows the second time around came from 20 years of good times and bad, sickness and health. This made it so much more meaningful... Our vows were not much different, we just reflected this time around about how we kept our promise we made 20 years ago.

Q: How was the 20th anniversary vows renewal prepared? How did it happen?

A: We wanted to renew our vows in a uniquely Chinese place. What is more authentically Chinese than the Great Wall? We chose a quiet little corner to exchange our vows and rings with our children and it was wonderful!

Q: Why did you choose our studio? How did you choose the rings?

A: We chose to work with Solotus Jewelry Studio because we wanted a local artist as opposed to a mass produced ring from a jewelry chain. Your service, personality, English ability and quality of the rings made it the perfect choice- thank you!!!
